Do you believe in ghosts/spirits?

what if we are "sprits" to the "spirit" people or we are "ghost" to the "ghost" people. and when they see us, they get spooked and scarred like when we see them. what if the "spirit" people had there own people doing investigations on the parnormal which would be us to them...

I believe in both.

Anyone who has been to a haunted location knows that ghosts are real.

Essentially, ghosts are spirits that have not "crossed over," so to speak. It's usually associated with torture, suffering, etc.. This is why you will find that most of the alleged haunted locations are abandoned hospitals and sanitariums.

well, since i dont believe in time and all of that really, i believe that are human and "spirit" at the same time. alotta times i cant really think of the words to explain what i believe... i can TALK them better... but yeah... ill shuddup

 

I absolutely believe in them because of unexplained events that have happened to me, as well as the huge amount of stories told by seemingly credible people...not everyone is wrong or making something up.

I think certain areas are more haunted than others...where I went to college is supposedly one of the most haunted towns in the country, and you could really feel it....I saw too many strange things there to list right now.

the rat is right about old hospitals and sanitariums....the town had Ohio's main mental hospital from 1820 through 1960 or so.....there was a fire an inmates died while chained to the walls..outside the main building is a cemetery with small numbered graves arranged in circles, all people who died in the fire.....the whole town was featured on the worlds scariest places or something like that.

 

i don't know if it's a place's memory, overlapping time, whatever. it's actually just one of those things i don't worry about much. fitzy, rent The Others. watch the whole thing.

while walking through graveyards there I found on stone that read "hanged for the murder of his sweetheart 1883" and another one had bronze statues of two little girls holding hands staring off into space...they both died in a fire.

the Others is great i think...if I bought movies I would go for that one....of course I think Nicole Kidman is one of the best actresses around today....great story, great directing

 

i think so. it gets better every time you watch it, but i recommend looking for a used one, to save the cost (i hate paying full price for anything.)

well without goin into all my beliefs n crap on life n afterlife n shit,,, yes i believe in both.... to me everything is a spiritual being n when ya kickit n pass on yer spirit or parts of remain,,, non hurting, non violent, etc altho can be pests n nuisances,,,, n ghosts generally i tend to clump into those that have kicked it n just haven't crossed over to where they oughtta be,,, sorta stuck here in tween the two places n generally for a reason,,,

seriously i could go on forever n more detail but,,,,,,,,,, unless yer into it just aint worth the energy it takes from me,,, but can say iffin yer used to them,,, ya can tell the difference tween the two very easily,,,,

I dont know if its a ghost or a spirit, or what the fuck it is, but someone lives in my house other than me and my wife. I've known about it since the first night I moved in. I'm used to it now, but sometimes the damn thing scares the shit out of me, like the time the soap disappeared out of my hand while I was in the shower.

 

I believe they exist because I've had several personal encounters with them & I know many, many, many people who have also had encounters with them. Don't fuck with them either! Leave them be!

mmm so therefore kindwoman would you clump spirit guides in there as well??? hmmmmmmmmmmm or is this delving into more than one would like,,, as i said lol could go wayyyyyyyyyyyy deep into the whole realm of the "other world" but most get geeked.... and ya already seem a bit geeked to me

 

Ive had quite a few encounters with my sprit guide.

 

It's something that's always fascinated me, but NO, I have to say that I have not seen anything to back it up that makes me believe in them for real. Lots of fake shit out there -- and the more of that fake shit that gets exposed, the less reason there seems to be to believe any of it's real.

I mean, I would love to have reason to believe we all have souls, and that they are eternal and such, because that would be a comforting thing, but I don't see it as reality.

People come up with some really silly stories that they ask you to believe... and of course, conveniently, there's never any EVIDENCE or PROOF.
Rational people are skeptical because of that.
