I study astrology and check the planet aspects daily. I gain great insights from these studies, and feel I know myself better as a result.

Here is the site I use to keep my chart on file, and can see the exact or upcoming aspects that might affect me.

    www.astro.com

The basic chart service is free, and very accurate. I don't go for horoscopes, but for the planetary alignments and aspects that are the real influences.

Mostly I am interested in mundane astrology, which is not your personal horoscope but the interaction of planetary influences on us all as a whole.

Astrology is just a way of making money. People are paying for it but gain nothing. The planets have zero influence on us. Btw. did you know there are not 12 but 13 zodiac signs? Astrology ignores this fact. 12 sounds better than 13.

I don’t know a whole lot about it but I suppose some sort of intersectional science on astrology and the zodiac birth years and all the different observations from different cultures could actually objectively prove there is something to it whether it is a pattern in humanity that matches the star’s patterns or if there is some sort of energy or gravitational effect in orbit, who knows all of the variables that could be at play.

i have a friend who is into jung who has a pretty cool forum with a lot of blog like journal aspects for the time being and i think he has a really advanced understanding of astronomy and astrology: Jung / Depth Psychology / Astrology - Centre for Cosmic Consciousness

i would say anyone that believes astrology should be interested in astronomy and studying that along with psychology, as those are the direct parents of astrology.
I would be really curious to see if there are some sort of science experiments or scientific observations taken to see if astrology measures something specifically objectively true

one of my favorite all-time NEW YORKER cartoons was of 2 men tied to execution posts facing a firing squad. one turns to the other and says "I read my horoscope today and it didn't say anything about this!" That's my opinion of the worth of astrology and horoscopes.

Your zodiac sign is the least important thing in your natal chart.

The combination of ALL the factors is what makes us what we are... like DNA... it is complex.

I will say the generic horoscopes in the media are simply entertainment. Fiction in fact!

Actually after thinking about it for a while I'm taking this back. I want to believe it. But it has yet to be proven to me...

No. The systems of it are basically obsolete with what we know about the solar system today anyway.
