Do you always fix your spelling mistakes when you spot them?

Yes.I have good English skills having studied English Literature at degree level.However I also type very fast as I am so eager to get the words out so often end up making a lot of typo errors.If I spot spelling and grammatical errors I will always try to go back and edit them for correction.For me it is a matter of personal pride.

Yes, I do when I spot them. I type too fast and my nails are too long, makes me have what I call Fat fingers day. That's the days that my spelling looks really bad.
Then once my nails start to chip or break I cut em all back to start over and it's a whole new learning process to type properly again.

sometimes I leave them be sometimes not depends if Im on phone Im not going back to fix that shit. I dont car someone spells something simple like that cause its just the way I think were all getting used to reading like that anyway..

I like the way you are sometimes loose with your spelling and grammar Orison because it makes you sound very personal and low-key in a nice way.

 

I usually do. I tend to get embarrassed if I don't.

It Comes To Spelling I Perform All My Stunts Without A Safety Net And

If I Get Stuck Then I Refer To My Dicitionary...

I don't go back and re-read what I have written, unless someone picks up on it I am none the wiser.

 

If I notice it I do tend to go back and edit the post to fix it. Not sure why....

 

depends on how many i already have and if i feel like it. and if spell check gives me every word except the one i was trying to say, to hell with it.

 

On here I try to correct any spelling or punctuation mistakes, if I spot them before the edit feature goes away.

Usually (or ushally? lol) I don't spot them on emails until I've already sent them out. That spell check doesn't work if you have spelled a word correctly; but its not the word you meant.

When I'm typing something fast, getting those thoughts out (here or in email) I may tend to leave out a word or words. Spell check damn sure doesn't catch that.

I have hardcore OCD when it comes to writing. I must fix everything, right down to the absence of a comma. The Queen's english is a highly refined communicative tool. That being said, I wish we'd drop the U from everything..

 

If I could marry the edit button, I would. I might get one tattooed on my wrist now that I think o fit. Of it.

Some of my typos I've left because they were funny. I did edit the posts but just to make note of the typo that I was leaving *in*.
