I thought Jane Fonda spit on vietnam soldiers...what makes her a hippie?

Spitting is rude & just plain yikky! Doesn't seem like something a true hippie would do anyways. But there are quite a bit of other hippie stereotypical behaviors that I do have.

Damn hippies. Think vegetables are a main course, abd drums are a lead instrument. No wonder the red necks don't like us.

if you pray to your shoes for salvation, you are a hippy

personaly..i beleive a true hippy would hug the soldiers.. say i love you..i'm sorry you had to be usd in such a horrible way.. a true hippy would realze they were just people thrust into the worse possible situation, by the most unhip people of all
a hug & a tear would have had a much more powerful & possitive affect then spit anyday

    David,

I send my greetings for you friend ... and I sit here understanding your speakings of the unusual and mysterious ways

mysteries unveiled are so clear and sort of unmysterious... not to say mysterious and unusual ways & people cease ... the strange and unusual is where I find the beauty more & more it seems each day passing ... each day becoming stranger ... this truly helps me to find a compassion within myself ... not to be using a too easily found word for such a grand expression

light is an amazing thing and i truly wish it for all of us always

    keep on,
    peace

Did ya ever see the movie "On Golden Pond"? The Movie with Henry Fonda, Jane Fonda & Katherine Hepburn....well the little store that they took the boat out to was about 40 minutes from my house....I'm more impressed with Katherine Hepburn.
