Do "smart guys" turn you on?

Maybe you should read something other than C++ for the advanced techie.

Might I suggest some philosophy? Some history? Some poetry?




Find a subject that isn't your norm. Obviously your norm isn't working for you.


Chicks dig smart guys, not geeks (Well some chicks dig geeks, but apparently you're not finding them), so study up on relevant subjects.

Maybe you need to get outside and stretch them chubby little legs?

Nobody likes saggy shapeless men... except maybe Catherine Zeta Jones, and she's got one allready.


You could learn to play an instrument. Chicks dig a guy with talent.


So in summary, because you can program doesn't make you smart. And just because you're smart, doesn't mean you're an attractive candidate for procreation.



I'm sure you'll understand this....


Let's say a 200 lb. girl with bad skin, a unibrow and half a moustache told you she was smart and so deserved a date with you, what would you think?


Most of all, you are lacking the most important quality women respect.

As for the computer programming thing, I kind of resent whoever said knowing the computer language is easy. Doing "basic" things with the language is not knowing the language. Its the same as saying I know How to speak spanish. Although I could hold on a converstation at a very slow pace, and I'm sure half of it would not make any sense, I still know a little about it, but that does not make me go around saying i know how to speak it.

I myself am a Programmer in the languages of the web, and if you think that stuff is easy, maybe you should look at the project i am working on right now, and why may I ask, is it that one application (Yes, I said application), Has 5 files connected to it, two of which are 500 lines a piece (the visual display), and the other three are the logic behind it, containing 1000 - 2000 lines of code. (this is just a baby application too). Now I dont know about you guys, but it takes a really long time to type that out, and the last time I clocked myself I was at approximately 140 wpm, especially with all of the logic breaks in it. (Meaning, one thing is constantly contradicting another when something else is true, or false).

Girls love a smart guy, but more importantly they hate being bored. Just find what shes into and try not boring the hell out of her. Girls want a confident interesting guy, not some guy who might be smart but drives 'em away by being a sardonic loser who has nothing to talk about besides his IDE controller.

i was gonna say anyway... i love smart guys.. i also like guys who come across as dumb but actually have depth to them.. i dont like smartasses though unless they are smartass in such a way that i pee my pants laughing at everything they say. . . which is actually rare. you know.. pretending to be smartasses but being caring guys underneath it ... anyway... im married to the smartest guy i have ever met... which is cool until he starts explaining the complexities of chess and data bank or data warehouse programming.... i just dont get it so half the time i have to say.. um... im sorry i wasnt listening could you repeat that?... but he is a really fun guy too and doesnt put me through that very often.. just when he gets excited about something which is cool for me because i love when he is excited. but i guess i lucked out cuz not only is he very smart but also into active things too... was a football coach and loves music, playing guitar and traveling... hmmm. sounding pretty sagitarius isnt he.. omg i cant believe im going on and on about my husband. i hope noone pukes after my post haha sorry guys... i guess im just having one of those proud of my hubby moments. anyway.... the geek image is wearing out.. my husband was a geek in school.. skinny , super smart.. even had thick black glasses (which made him look super sexy) but all the girls wanted him basically cuz he had a great personality and really listened to you and not just your boobs when you talked. fun guy. so be smart.. and like lodui said.. have some fun with the girl. girls love to laugh. sorry again for my ridiculous post i guess im just happy.
