truthfully i should wash more often but since i got dreads i dont know, i kinda forget to wash! its really bad, ive always got people coming up to me like "you seriously smell"
i shower twice a week, once if i'm lucky. personally i'd rather smell a little BO than 20 squirts of perfume any day. the amount of perfume most people wear literally makes me sick.
I think that comes from hippies of the sixties because they traveled so much they did not have a place or time to take a shower every day they were to busy liven!!! That and it the MAN'S way of tring to stick it to the hippies. I also heard that alot were liven on the street back then but I think times have changed (UNFORTUNATLY) !!!
I can't stand the smell of that shit they spray. I hate when people spray me with stuff against me will (I get alot of comments about my smell, but in truth I smell fine, and fuck other people) I manage to defer them with empty threats though (they think me crazy enough to cary them out).
funny story actually. my friend zaray got this nasty cafeteria chili for lunch, and i swear it smelled like ASS. it actually smelled like several dozen unwashed people ( or one teenage boy who hasn't showered in like a month.) i had to leave it smelled so bad. and where did i sit? with my silly emo friends. do any of you wear axe. if you do shame on your for abusing our poor nostrils. i don't mind cologne, but cheap cologne is the bane of my existence. pwah
whether or not you shower does not make you a hippie. I shower almost daily. This stereotype comes from a lot of the people who live on the road going from show to show and don't shower. And some just don't because they're filthy.

i take showers whenever i feel like it (about twice a week) but i find that most of the time im to lazy to shower frequently plus i dont brush my hair and people are always on my case about that but i like my hair long and freeflowing so what the hell would it matter what some squares think?.
