I agree with these comments. Guys check each other out all the time because we are very competitive, but also very insecure. The dick is basically the only body part on other guys that you don’t get to see on a regular basis. Yet it’s the part that society seems to judge about a guy the most, from grade school to adulthood. So obviously guys want to know where they stand compared to other guys.

But the comparison is usually not flagrant or obvious the way it’s portrayed in movies. It’s usually very subdued, glances, with no commentary. And usually the only thing you have time to notice are ethnicity/color, flaccid length, flaccid thickness, circumcision status, size of balls, and whether or not he manscapes. And from that you can get a sense how common each thing is. But detailed or close up comparisons don’t happen. At least not in a locker room setting (because that would be “gay”).

I will say that certain things will seem to garner longer stares, or at least more attempts for guys to get a longer look at what you have. If you fall at one of the extreme ends of the size scale (either micropenis or porn star), then most guys do want to get a closer look. Also, if you’re in the US and have foreskin (or in the UK and are circumcised), then you’re in the minority and other guys are going to find that more curious. Other than that, it’s usually quick, silent checks and then everyone goes about their business.
