It a mixed bag for us. Some of our friends know, but do not participate. Other friends do not know. Some of our family members know and others don’t. All I can say is we love our nude life. We don’t flaunt it or push it on anyone. We have learned not to talk about it much. If you do, be prepared for some joking your way from people who have never tried it.
Friends and family are definitely different categories. Amongst me and my wife’s close circle of friends, including most our our neighbors, my penchant for nudity is fairly well known. They’ve all seen me in next-to-nothing and my skinny dipping habit is regular fodder for punch lines. Once invited a 70 year-old neighbor over to skinny dip with me when I found out she was an enthusiast as well. Family outside of my own house defines me differently. I was away for a long time and became known to them mostly by the second or third hand stories they heard. And when I moved back, I kind of felt an obligation to live up to the stories ... play the roll so to speak. Even though I had many, many naked escapades all of those years I was away, I didn’t advertise it so they never found out about it. “Coming out” as a nudist to them at this point would probably be kind of uncomfortable all around.
Exactly! But nooooo my brothers can prance around with their wing-wongs out all they want but I can’t be nude outside of my room!
My family doesn't know that I agree with naturism, and I think my parents will never know, they would never accept it. When I turn 18, I will probably go to São Paulo to study computer engineering. When I'm living absolutely ALONE I will live my life naked. I CAN'T WAIT TO MY FREEDOM Summing up what I mean, if you don't feel comfortable telling your family that you practice nudism / naturism, DO NOT TELL YOUR FAMILY, they don't need to know everything in your life
