There are more nudists in the home then people what to claim. It is our society that causes us to be shame of it and hide it. Then you have people who visited your home, and they tell the world about it. That is one of the bigs problems of being nude in your home and having a company that runs their mouth.

You have this problem in changing rooms at the pool. For example, a mother brings in her seven and 10-year-old son into the female changing room, and the women and girls see the boy's bodies completely naked. What happens next what turns people off. The next day at school or a mother tells another mother that my daughter saw some boy naked body in the changing room, and then they go around and say who that person is.

People in 8 thousands of years on planet Earth have not learned yet what goes on in other people's space is not to be shared with others without permission from that person. As a mother, I can tell you is one of the downfall of motherhood. We females love to gossip and our gossip destroys trust and love for each other.[/QUOTE]
Well were used to the gossip by now can't stop it so we let it be! Were not short of friends as we have house parties now and then and cloths are an option on occasions some visitors keep their cloths on, that's fine with us! No cameras are ever allowed unless it's a only family party!

Sometimes it's a lifetime of repression. We are all born beautiful but then we are brought up being told nudity is bad (and sex is bad, but that's a completely different subject all together). Then growing up we get bombarded with images of unattainable, impossibly flawless, bodies of photoshopped supermodels or pornstars with foot long penises and chiseled six packs. Is it any wonder that many people have hang ups about their bodies?

On top of that, you have the closed minded individuals who dislike anything that isn't their kind of 'normal'. Sadly they are usually the ones that are the most vocal to chastise things that they don't understand and to force their bigoted views onto others.

This, all together, makes people nervous of expressing their own, innocent, views on nudity.

It is a shame but my wife and I don't do nude in public unless we are at a clothes optional beach or resort (even then, she doesn't go fully naked) and we have only a select few friends that know we are part time nudists. It's not ideal but one step at a time.

I totally agree with many of the things you mentioned.
It's up to YOU to change YOUR attitudes regarding nudity at home or at places where nudity is legally allowed.
Thank you for pointing out that NUDITY and SEX are two different subjects and should be treated seperatly.
