I think the entities are kind of Jungian style archetypes. Not really some other entity that lives without me, but still some universal image or symbol that I, and others, see sometimes on DMT or other times when we are close to our unconscious.

There was a time when I thought there couldn't be any scary aspect of DMT for me, and then I had some deeply frightening experiences.

I've done it multiple times in a night many times. Usually because once I experience it, I realize how great it is and I am more comfortable doing it. After some scary experiences, I've tried again soon after, partly to try to turn it around and have a more positive time.

These "scary" experiences are definitely some that I remember the most, and they have probably taught me more about myself, so I don't regret them at all. They do, however, make it take a lot longer to actually smoke the stuff when I'm sitting in front of the pipe, and I think it's part of what makes me chicken out sometimes and not finish smoking my dose.

(Not to scare anyone, but there's been:
    * my own death by heart attack in a very psychedelic way with defibrillators, etc.,
    * fetuses dying because of some circuitry problem in my brain leaking out to wreak havok on my external environment,
    * a few times where just after smoking I "remember" that DMT is deadly for me and that I've been hiding it from myself to trick myself into smoking again,
    * visuals speeding up to disturbing speeds which make it seem like something in my mind is going to red-line and then break.

But, I still go back from time to time. Maybe it's masochism, or maybe it's because the great beauty, that it usually brings, more than makes up for it. Plus, like I said, these scary ones were amazing experiences even though they weren't fun.)

This is a point I have often argued when discussing DMT entities, and it's quite astute observations from you considering you have never done it.

I agree, before DMT the idea of collective unconscious was really difficult for me to grasp but DMT made me experience sort of an 'Ah HA' moment with that concept, still quite abstract but more understandable when you are seeing it fly in front of your 3rd eye.

Haha yes. I have never done DMT, and I have never seen beings. However, I have "sensed" alien presences while under the influence of 2c-e.

I was writing a stream-of-consciousness poem at the time, and this is what I wrote when that sensation arose:

"In the presence of aliens, does typing it make it more or less real not sure apparently less"

When I was tripping in a bed I sensed four alien presences in the room; I remember distinctly that the leader was standing to my right. Later, I sensed a presence at the foot of the bed that I associated with Krishna:

"The alien presence it is Krishna. Joy unbounded faithful blue charioteer smiling Krishna is love. Sri Krsna stands at foot of bed PREACHING DHARMA DUTY"

I can understand the phenomenon, in other words.

i haven't went nearly as deep as you, but this part i quoted reminded me. after i settled in from the initial shock of the power of the visuals (this was my 2nd most intense time), and then they started to fade, i felt like i could sense an office/waiting room of some sort. i could sorta see it behind the darkness of my closed eyes. weird...

i sat on mine for well over a year, but having just tried it for the first time last week, this is definitely how i'm feeling.

I've only experienced DMT once, and it was definitely a spectacular event. I met with what I can only call Drow Aliens (Dark Elves) and watched them dance about in what appeared to be a super futuristic city with neon lights of strange symbols. I portalled there through some multi-neon coloured tunnel.

I remember after I "woke" up I had a huge sense of disgust about how humans and these aliens were so hedonistic (doing things solely for experiencing pleasure). I think that's what the "aliens" were trying to show me. Considering while I was "with" them, I could see my friends trapped behind a glass barrier laughing.

I was also on LSD at the time, and I chose to have some mayan tribal music playing in the background while I did the DMT. I look forward to eventually doing it again, however it isn't something I can see myself doing more than once a month as a type of cleansing ritual.

This is simply untrue. Its different for everyone and i think many people who haven't really thoroughly explored these states are mixing up judicious, respectful, dedicated exploration of these realms with abuse when they make such claims

there is a MASSIVE difference between misuse and dedicated exploration.
