Django Reinhardt with Luftwaffe Oberleutnant Dietrich Schulz-Köhn (and some of Django's band members). Schulz-Köhn, or "Doctor Jazz" as he was known, was a writer and enthusiast of jazz, and was one of the main reasons Reinhardt was never interned into a camp and survived the war. After he was released in '47, he became a radio host and lived to be 87 years old. Picture is small, I know, just click on it, should bring you to the full one.
