Divide and rule (Latin: divide et impera), or divide and conquer, in politics and sociology is gaining and maintaining power by breaking up larger concentrations of power into pieces that individually have less power than the one implementing the strategy. And some memes,
And who is "the one implementing the strategy"? And who is the one making the memes? And what, if any solution is the meme maker planning to put forward--other than more of the same?
Its more then one. Think of stuff like the Bilderberg meetings. I think the meme makers just want to wake people up to what a scam it is.
But who are they? When you say "it's more than one" are you talking about the secret puppet masters or their adversaries? What are the meme makers up to? Are they just out to do good and wake up the public or do they have other agendas? What would they put in place of the existing system? Anarchy? Let's get back to the Bilderberg group. One problem with secret conspiracies is that they're secret, so how do we know what, if anything, they're up to. There are certainly lots of alleged conspirators whose names are invoked anytime something big and bad happens in the world:the Illuminati, The Rothschilds, the Elders of Zion, the Trilateral Commission, George Soros. But usually no evidence, just allegations. So where's the beef? What is the evidence?
I'll post this here because I like it so much. It's my favorite quote ever about government. "Authority has always attracted the lowest elements in the human race. All through history mankind has been bullied by scum. Those who lord it over their fellows and toss commands in every direction and would boss the grass in the meadow about which way to bend in the wind are the most depraved kind of prostitutes. They will submit to any indignity, perform any vile act, do anything to achieve power. The worst off-sloughings of the planet are the ingredients of sovereignty. Every government is a parliament of whores. The trouble is, in a democracy the whores are us." -P.J. O'Rourke
