Milton's "Paradise Lost" was a huge success, while "Paradise Regained" was a flop, and if you think the mass media is clueless, the smell only gets worse the higher up you go. Libertarian Paradise is a fucking lynch mob composed of fundamentalists in particular, who should stick with professional wrestling. You can't have a democracy in which 40% of the population rejects the rule of law. The civil war was the south's way of saying they never learned to share their words and play nice.
As i said i look at the policies and not the politicians who are in it for the cause. If i like what i see i end up voting for that party. Me being a labor voter here in australia. Why do i vote labor? Because of the jobs security, Labor's way of getting on with everything, etc. I wouldn't bother voting liberal. Why? They don't give a flying fuck about job security, they don't bother about healthcare and welfare, etc. All the negative rubbish happens to be terrible for everyone here.
The US is going through death pains, with small town America and the family farm all vanishing down the toilet, as everyone moves to the major urban centers. Even with their population crashing, they are all moving to wherever the jobs are, and it is estimated within the next 30 years you'll be able to drive from NYC to Miami, 1,000 miles, without ever leaving the city. Its surreal, like watching the walls of Babylon go up. DC has more marble than Disneyland has toilets.
You should look at the party that will provide jobs everywhere for everyone. If nobody does then the whole thing is not really that great.
You don't get it, only five or six states actually make more money in a year than they receive from the government. The states are already diverging so badly from each other that places like West Virginia might as well be in the third world, while NYC has every modern convenience imaginable. Only recently has the urban population begun to finally outnumber the rural, and the rural population is ready to explode at the thought they may lose their grip on our political system. Civil wars come and civil wars go, but nobody can hurt you like insane fundamentalists in Libertarian Paradise, but what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Its been possible to replace every bureaucrat in DC with computers for years, and to increase classroom sizes to 120, while physicians have been reporting burnout in their efforts to create an AI that can replace them. Its total insanity and everyone in the semi-conducting industry in particular is holding their breath and waiting to see what happens next, because China is already in the process of automating their entire electronics assembly line. They had 400 employees threaten to commit mass suicide jumping off the factory roof. You know how the Chinese are. We need an AI that creates better jobs, right after they conquer the stock market.

That is … now that he had Trump destroy the education department, the Energy department, the land management department, the clean air department, the clean water department, the immigration department, the justice department, the financial crimes department, the national parks department, the housing department, the disease control department, the food department, the medicine department, and now the military code of conduct. ..and I would like to point out that we have 62 political parties in the U.S., not 2, that got at least 6,296,939 votes in the 2016 presidential election.
That's a pretty moot point though. None of those third parties are in congress (that I know of. There's a couple of independents in Congress but I dont know of any third party congressional reps). Maybe some of them have a little bit of power at the local level but none of them have any power at the national level
True, but that's a problem those parties need to address, not the Republicans or Democrats. Obviously they have little to offer to the public.
How would you do that? Abolish parties? Establish a one-party state? The only hope would be to get rid of the electoral college, or the "winner take all" system most states use in elections to it.
But there were only two parties that received taxpayer money for primaries! And, in some states, only the registered party members can vote in their, taxpayer funded, primaries. Come on young voters, don't fall for the same bullshit from the stupid Dem's and the evil GOP that generations before you have fallen for. This is your inheritance and it's looking pretty bleak right now. It's just control like organized religion has been. You youngsters have shown that you're overcoming the propaganda of religion, now look through the propaganda of politics! Do you really think that Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden or any of the other old crooks have your best interest in mind? It's about their power! And, without the support of the young generation, they won't have their power! Elect someone who understands your values.
The only way to eliminate political parties is to go to the source, and threaten the college frats boys with yanking their standing.
In In 240 years we've never had more than two significant parties. It seems fair to say that the winner take all model of our elections discourages more parties.
