Disubstituted ketone to synthesize phenylethylamine

    Would one be best of using urea or ammonia sulphate, as I have run out of ammonia nitrate?

    Yes Ive done some research into it,I've also heated it up for a bit in hci acid to see if it would release ammonia a(no joy)you said it is in pee. The formula has the nitrogen atom placed in a different place as apposed to at the begining like in ammonia nitrate, and ammonia sulphate. So I'm thinking if I heated urea up for a long time you will get a release of ammonia.can any one vouch?
