Interesting. I'd heard things like that stated before by other Canadian officials that "these things never happen in Canada." I guess people in government want their citizenry to forget Canada's 13 serial killers (including Willie Pickton who fed his victimes to his pigs), not to mention the Montreal Massacre at the École Polytechnique, and a handful of other mass campus shootings.

Violence is everywhere because people are everywhere. Not everyone can deny their primal instinct to kill...

That's so you don't pass out and have both of you die of oxygen deprivation. Letting someone get decapitated is incomparable.

These unfortunately, aren't things that you can prepare for. I mentioned in a thread a few days ago. One of my sisters church friends wifes was murdered in a church in Tennessee. It was just a freak evil person determined to kill.

It's true, and second in general crime. Toronto just has a bad rep, more people get shot and stabbed than actually die, I think... it's all just gangs pretty much in To. Edmonton is kinda shitty.
