Yah see and here this one chick is saying "I got sick after one measly day so don't do it" as if her one experience should dictate shower behavior. Well I have way more proof otherwise. My point is, just go bare if you want!!!
Yeah...if you want athlete's foot. That shit breeds in showers and I get it every time I shower at my parents' house, so what makes you think you're safe in a college where god knows who takes showers? It's not like athlete's foot's any biggie, but it's a pain in the ass...or foot, rather, and poor college students don't need to be wasting their beer money on fungal cream.
now that you mention it, i got a lot of athletes foot, and one other unpleasant foot fungus while living with my parents. then i went off to college and haven't had a scrap of fungus since. i think it's parents that cause foot fungus.
i don't wear anything while showering i didn't have a pair of flip flops that i could wear in the shower when i was hosteling europe and i never got any foot diseases albeit, i did only shower twice.... i probably should have worn a condom though....
You know, I think you're on to something. I moved out and never had it for the longest time, but we had a water line break at our house and had to shut the hot water off for two days while we fixed it, so I showered at my parents' house that two days and ended up with fucking athlete's foot again. Fucking parents.
oh my god, i just shared what happened to me, just as you've went on about how okay your feet are. I think my input was just as valuable. And I didn't tell the OP not to do it, I was just saying, this is what can happen and since he was asking advice, i said i wouldn't. Seriously dude, I think you care WAY too much about sandals in the shower.
When I've been on camps I've always worn them in the shower, a friend of mine never does and got a foot fungus or something once :S You don't have to wear them if you don't want to.
