Now that I think about it once I had to enter a toilet whose floor was flooded. Good that the sea wasn't far away. Yuckiest moment ever in my shoeless life
as a full time barefooter in Auckland, New Zealand I can confirm that shoes are not required anywhere....supermarket, shopping mall, restaurants, childrens schools, etc etc....the list is long...in fact never been refused entry to anywhere. In fact went to the U2 Joshua Tree concert last night...completely barefoot, as were others too...pure bliss!
Definitely sounds like pure bliss to me too! I love being barefoot everywhere even now in the cold english autumn I'm enjoying being out and about barefoot.
Barefoot is awesome! Barefoot is great! It is SO awesome That I master the ability to walk on all kinds of surfaces!
You’re getting the same cold weather that we are here. Get ready, another cold blast along with snow is going to hit Pittsburgh tomorrow night. Should be in Philly sometime Wednesday or maybe even late Tuesday. This is going to be a barefoot test.
Do you all consider a barber shop a dirty place? I went over the weekend and of course I was barefoot and as it was busy they had minimal time to sweep up all the hair which felt kind of odd under my soles
I don’t see it as being a dirty place such as a tire or auto repair shop. And I don’t know what would happen from stepping over hair. But the shop I went to years ago warned me about hair splinters. It was explained to me that these were tiny pieces of hair that could work it’s way into skin. I’m comparing it to fiberglass.
I agree. I was also given the "tiny pieces of hair" explanation and how it could work it's way into the skin. However, I don't think its a problem for a regular barefooter since we have well developed callouses. For a shoddie quite a different story. I personally have never had a problem with hair on the floor and compare it to having handled fiberglass many times without a problem for my hands.
Athens, A week in Athens in 1982 left my soles so black it took a month before they were reasonably clean again.
The attic was one of them. https://www.flickr.com/photos/61069728@N08/49064868107/in/dateposted-public/
