Well I believe the Leviathan had two heads. Just as some snakes today have two heads, or some cows, have two heads or some kittens, are born with two heads ect. consider the links below.

I might mention according to the Bible the Leviathan must still be alive, because the Bible states God will destroy Him at His coming. And with that said you might consider this CNN.com/ SCI-TECH article.

LONDON, England--Scientists have revealed a mysterious recording that they say could be the sound of a giant beast lurking in the depths of the ocean.
Reseachers have nicknamed the strange unidentified sound picked up by undersea microphones "Bloop." While it bears the varying frequency hallmark of marine animals, IT IS FAR MORE POWERFUL THAN THE CALLS MADE BY ANY CREATURE KNOWN ON EARTH, Britain"s New Scientist reported on Thursday.

Well what do you mean by a liberal Christian?

UFO's are real, and they will be part of the evil that will be in place after the church is gone. Even Arther Keel who was one of the formost UFO researchers here in America stated, the more he got involved into the UFO research, the more he was catapulted into the world of Demonology. Keel felt that the real understanding of UFO's would not be found by observing them, but rather, by interviews with the thousands of people who were their contacts. ect.

I think it is quite funny that you discredit the scientific mind and the evolutionist theory, but when necessary you use science to back up your religious bullshit.

    Well said Butterfly.
It's an unfortunate tendency I've noticed too among many xtians. Given their disregard for science and reason, it makes you wonder they can stoop so low as to pollute their holy hands by touching a computer.

The Bible says beware of science falsly so called. I demand a lot more proof from the Bible, than an Evolutionist would ever demand from their theory. And when the Bible has prophecies that come to pass and are fulfilled, I believe it, because I can see it. When Darwin stated THAT IF HIS THEORY WERE TRUE, we would find many trans-species in the fossil record, and then we don't. Then I would say you are the one believeing in B.S. And yes, I use science, and not vodo science. And the scientific mind told us that we would never find soft tissue in dinosaurs bones, because soft tissue only last 10,000 years. Yet, just a few months they discovered soft tissue in dinosaurs bones right here in the states. And based on the scientific mind, that soft tissue would agree with the Biblical account, and not Evolution. I'm sure the Evolutionest will not tell everyone that soft tissue can last 70 million years. Who's believing in B.S. now?

Campbell...how many instances of this soft-tissue discovery?

If true, it still doesn't prove anything...it's just another bit of unusual and interesting scientific evidence, open to investigation by all parties; it's not a reason to jump up and down and claim victory for young-earth Creationism.

Maybe Jurassic Park can become a reality now, who knows.

Paleontologist Mary Schweizer of North Carolina State University was the one who discoverd T. Rex bones with dried blood cells in them in 1990. Someone who knew Mary and saw the bones in question stated that the bones really were stained with dried blood. Mary had been figuratively tarred and feathered, and run out of town on a rail for publishing her discovery in the popular press. It is believed that many Fossils could have Soft Tissue inside. Schweizer has announced that they have looked at more than a dozen other dinosaur specimens and have found soft tissue in them as well.

In order for Mary to keep her job she never states the obvious importance. That is, THE MOST LIKELY REASON THE BONES AREN'T FOSSILIZED IS THAT THEY AREN'T ANYWHERE NEAR 68 MILLION YEARS OLD. We are glad she chose to give this song-and-dance rather than to keep her discovery secret.

I think its quite funny that you discredit the scientific mind by attributing evolutionist theory to it.
Evolutionism is an antiscientific belief system that has too often been blamed on 'science'.

For those of us who dont base our beliefs on false dichotemies (in this case Science 'vs' Religion) we are looking at the same 'mindset' whether its asking if Christ is the Messiah or if the actual buildings in Sodom can be excavated.

But yeah, I know I find it funny you think Evolutionism is anything but antiscience.

So far I’ve thought God is the author of everything, including confusion. You are opening my eyes :)

What I don’t understand is why you are so sure that the authors of the Bible related God’s words and will correctly. And if someone inspired by God wrote another book, would it be possible for you to trust this other book as much as you trust the Bible?
So after all you are saying that God enjoys confusing people…

Sometimes it’s a great pleasure to read you, campbell34, really :)

    Superb !
Yeah, even Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea mentioned this fact in their Illuminatus! Trilogy :)

I’ve just found such a community in Livejournal, look here:
    http://community.livejournal.com/christianleft/profile
You can check what they write there. Seems not so intriguing as your posts :)

What’s Arther? He is John Alva Keel. Well, I’ve understood your attitude towards UFOs. Actually, there was an Orthodox Christian monk called Seraphim (Eugene) Rose, who completely adapted Keel’s ideas to the Christian perspective, although he barely added to them anything essentially new.

1 Cor. 14:32 God is not the author of confusion,

Those who wrote the Bible stated that they were inspired by God, and the information they were given was not their private interpretation. The prophecies of the Bible were written over a spread of 3,000 years, and there was no way that the writers could of got the prophecies all right, unless there was a God that was directing them. There are just to many of them, and many of the prophecies when written, were not even understood by those who were doing the writing.

I believe there are other men who are inspired by God to write books, yet if that information comes from God, it will be in agreement with the Bible.

I don't know if God has a sense of humor, but I have found in my own life, when I step outside of His will, sometimes I feel He puts me in the most unbelievable situations, and I know He purpoposely does this, in order to get me to do the right thing. And even if it is uncomfortable at the time, when I look back at what He has done, it can be very funny.

I believe God often confuses those who do not seek Him, but makes plain to those who do. Whatever way God moves, it is alway in an attempt to draw people to Him, and not away.

Another thought back on the dinosaur issue: the bible does not mention, in the creation story, the vast majority of species on earth--be it the creation or Noah's ark or any other accounting of plants/animals, you never get every type of animal listed.

Granted dinosaurs are an entirely different era, but nevertheless, lack of mention doesn't mean they weren't there.

ALSO, another trick is the creation story itself, as there are 2. In the first one, animals come first, then humans. In the second creation story (chapter 2 of genesis) it goes that man was created and then animals were created to keep man company. Therefore, one story precludes dinosaurs predating humans, the other doesn't!

Campbell, I say that you take the bible, put some KY jelly between the pages and screw it hard. It is exactly what you need to do.

Well thats pretty much what I would expect to hear from a believer in Evolution who has no answers. And how many years did you go to school to lean that?

Its from the same school of thought that teaches the best defense for evolutionism is to strongly assert that naturalistic evolutionism is 'intelligent' and that anybody who cant see that must be stupid.
The crazy thing: that actually IS the best argument they come up with which in itself gives you a clue how the 'logic' works in that religion.
    Case in point.

Reminds me of the Evo who finds soft tissue inside a T-Rex bone.
He looks at it, agrees it it soft tissue, appears to have hemoglobin etc.
Then declares; "Well we know some phenomina must have changed it to look this way!"
When asked why he says "well because T-Rex is Eleventeen Million years old so it cant be otherwise".

    See how the thinking works.
Evolutionism is true, therefore its true, so it must be true and any 'facts' in the way must be otherwise because evolutionism is true so therefore they are false......

    Real good.

Actually....sorry to pop your bubble of ego but I just feel like it is worthless to argue with someone who is OCD about the bible. Just waste of my energy. I choose to live my life not alone behind a computer screen.

also wanted to throw this in: Where did I state my stance on creationism or evolutionism? I just pointed out something that you do and will do in forum discussions about how immaculate the bible is.

Let me know how it goes with your bible/mental masturbation.

    Have a good day.

By editing the post that way - you actually just continue doing the exact same thing.
    Think about it.
    Think...
    Oh yes you did.

Thanks for confirming my point exactly.

I am sure you know that this is an old logically unsolvable theological problem called theodicy. If God isn’t the author of evil and confusion, he is not the author of everything, and therefore there should be another creator. And if he is the author of evil, he is not benevolent. I think this problem can be solved only personally.

But, whatever Paul and theologians have thought and written, my personal understanding is that there is no reason for God to restrict himself by the biblical words (to be frank, I seriously doubt that God is restricted even by masculinity :)). Since nobody can understand the Creator of the Universe completely, there must be mistakes and deviations everywhere – they just prove, if you wish, the grandeur and splendor of God.

I wonder if this has anything to do with dinosaurs :)
