Don't mean to be a snob, but technically that is not a real tea. Tea comes from tea leaves, hibiscus tea is an herbal tea. I guess it comes down to what you consider "tea", but yeah it makes more sense to me when its not from tea leaves it should be called "herbal tea". I have probably had hibiscus tea but mabey not, it seems like its good. My favorite herbal tea is "good earth original" It is so tasty i love how it tastes sweet but theres no sugar and the spices in it are amazing. Lol i think we hijacked this thread enough
Mmm.. i see hibiscus tea as a tea because it is from something natural? Its from a plant. When i make it i don't just do plain hibiscus even though that is good too. I usually make it with a real tea like its really good with white tea. http://www.nilevalleyherbs.com/health.html We totally hijacked it but thats ok. Its about tea!!

I have heard/seen 2 things... 1) Pop of any kind depresses the immune system for 8 hours after consumption (i.e., if you are at all immuno-compromised, don't drink pop, diet or regular) http://www.elc.org.uk/pages/healthimmunesystem.htm A law forum? Not really experts on health, but ... http://intelegen.com/holiday_immune_support.htm A bit more sciency 2) many pops have bad things in them beyond the fructose/glucose (which is much worse than sugar)... like EDTA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EDTA)... bleh http://www.info-implants.com/Kay/24.html - a big list of yuck http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-fructose_corn_syrup Okay, these are less sciency... But, in general, I avoid pop when I can, especially now while I'm pregnant.
