Diet soda

Is soda really that much worse for you than beer? I mean i know beer is better tasting and has more purpose. I don't understand why diet soda exists. That stuff is like the same concept of sugar free marshmellows. Diet soda is so shitty tasting.

 

beer is worse.. because our bodies don't use those sugary carbs.. they just get stored as fat

 

Beer is definitely healthier than diet soda or regular soda. Regular soda for the masses of sugar and diet soda for the chemicals. Alcohol when not consumed in excess is handled well by a healthy liver, much better than diet soda.

 

I drink one 12 can of coca cola per day, I can't get past the taste of diet soda, any flavor. but I would say go with moderation with any kinda soda

 

By the the American Public Health Association's standards one can per day if you don't consume any other added sugar that day is "moderation".

 

I'm anti soda. It's 100% artificial, think about it!

I found it surprisingly easy to cut out of my diet (some other things, not so much!) but I'll probably find myself drinking it on some night out in the future.

i don't understand how kids my age drink monster, and etc. its gross. it doesn't even taste good.

 

Well i don't really like soda.
A root beer or coke is ok here and there but not really.

I like drinking tea.. Thats my preference.

as for the pop thing. yes, pop. fuck soda. lolz.
erm, i've been going to this weight loss specialist for about three or four months now and i can't drink regular pop anymore. truth be told, after a while you start to forget how real pop tastes...then once you drink it, you find out that you hate it because it is way to sweet for you to handle. but yeah, diet pop...diet pop isn't the best thing for you, for sure, but when you need the little boost from the caffeine or when you need something to break the bland taste of the diet you're on or you're just plain sick of water, it's definitely a good thing to have.

i don't recommend drinking a ton of it, if you do...split it with at least 64 ounces of water...it'll dillute the fake sugar shit they put in diet pop so you don't get a yeast or bladder infection. learned my lesson the hard way. =[ not fun.

save yourself and your urinary tract...be smart. drink some water when you're done with any pop. for sure.

 

Yea, the bottle root beers are great.
I prefer tea above all drinks.

Except for sometimes alchohol.

 

Diet soda is so disgusting... i have rarely drank any sort of pop/soda in the past 5-6yrs.. mostly water and gatorade... need those electrolytes

 

Yo root beer doesn't even come close to comparing to sasparilla!! That is def the best soda hands down.
And joker man, you should try Smart water if you want electrolytes. Thats good stuff.

 

Ohh.. well actually i think i have just heard of sasparilla. Its not like i was saying its the greatest thing ever cause NO SODA is the greatest thing ever.

I bet sasparilla doesn't compare to some nice natural, flavorful tea.

Lol you notice that i said best SODA. I have been with you guys in the argument that soda sucks, but if i ever want soda then i want sasparilla. Its nice to have it as an option in life even if you only drink it once every 6 months. If you are healthy then it will have no impact on your body at all.
And yeah smart water is superior than gatorade because gatorade has too much sugar. Although smart water is kinda expensive though.

Yeah i only had it like 10 times within the same week when i was in a summer camp when i was like 14. Thats one of the reasons it was so awesome is because i never had it before that and root beer was like my favorite soda and this was like rootbeer x3. I haven't had it since then, or seen it anywhere else, but it comes in bottles. I was gonnah check online for it but i kept forgetting.
Smart water should be in the store.

They have sooo many different kinds of waters now.

Yeah it comes in a tall skinny bottle and has the same kinda label as vitamin water does except its a see through bottle with no colors.
I just made a tea that should be interesting i just mixed two of my favorites Nan Nuo and gunpowder green tea and Eleuthero root.
