good 2 see u budbillion mmm ive actually got a bathroom extractor fan i was thinking of fitting then jus bringing the other pc fan down with the other 1 the baby is happy but its mid afternoon and my temps hav hit 90 :O i think thats a bit much really seein as the average should be from 68-78

 

Wow that flo is pumping out the heat. I wonder if you could fabricate a "cool tube" for it or something along those lines. Hmmmmm....

 

thats a nice idea u got there mate i recon ur onto sumthing need a bit more ducting tho plus somthing 2 use as glass sum sort of plastic? the ideas r appreciated mate thanks

 

You might be able to use a glue gun to make a \_/ and connect to some ducting with a chunk taken out. Plexi Glass is fairly cheap.

 

i wonder if a 2 liter coke bottle could hold the heat? i mean it would be being pulled out as it was gettin hot?

sorted hey wot u think bout useing a 2 litre bottle as a tube i recon it would fit over the bulb do u recon it would be a fire hazard even with air in n out?

 

It depends on the melting point of the plastic. You may have to do a bit of R&D.

lol ahhh you guys crack me up!! You could always try the soda bottle idea......just watch it closely and if it even just barely starts to crinkle up from the heat.....toss that idea. Alittle more expensive than the soda bottle idea but hit up ebay for a pyrex baking tube......or a bake-a-round i think they're called......they work excellent for DIY cool-tubes! Just a thought......also instead of a cool-tube you could just build a air-cooled hood out of some tin and plexi-glass....or go to a window place and have them cut ya a peice of heat-tempered glass. Tons of DIY ideas out there for air-cooled hoods/cool-tubes. Here are a couple links to DIY projects from icmag and hg420

Got one heck of a lab in here dexter you shoud get some Co2 fire extinguishers keep em on hand, Case you dont burn the place down you can use em for co2 injections later on... lol
