one of the best action movies of all time, so badass and amazing and hilarious!! one of the best movies of all time.
i have seen it 50+ times, i'm sure..........

 

Personally? I've enjoyed all of them but the first one still remains my favorite.
And while I adore Bruce Willis...there's no better villain than Alan Rickman.

 

Alan Rickman was definitely the best villain out of any of them. Maybe he had a parachute on under his jacket and didn't really die in the first one.

Die Hard 1 to 3 are incredible action movies.

"Live Free or Die Hard" fucking sucks for a variety of reasons:

1) Justin Long.
2) Obvious CGI in a Die Hard movie.
3) Justin Long.
4) That blue/orange contrast bullshit seems to be in effect.
5) Justin Long.
6) It wasn't released as PG13. I've seen the R rated version and it still sucks.
7) Justin Long.

Did I mention Justin Long helps an already bad movie into a horrible movie?

Whatever happened to really good action flicks? Even The Expendables is guilty of several of the problems that make this movie crap. It's ridiculous.

The Cute Boy who played the computer hacker and brot some young love-interest into the movie so it wasn't just an ageing daddy doing all the unbelievable action.



I found the movie overall entertaining with the usual suspension of disbelief. Much better than the latest one A Good Day to Die Hard, which is a typical sequel milking the drying up cow.

 

Die Hard was brilliant.
Die Hard 2: Die Harder had a stupid title, but it was FUCKING AWESOME.
Die Hard with a Vengeance kicked ass.
Live Free or Die Hard had an even dumber title than Die Hard 2, but was a fairly decent mindless action flick, and it had a car slamming into a helicopter in mid air.
Good Day to Die Hard was complete and total garbage.

 

i thought die hard 2 was awful, actually. Die Hard is awesome and the 3rd one is a lot of fun as well. Haven't seen the others.

 

Bruce Willis is cooler than Arnold...but Terminator wins because of the awesome, epic T2, which is easily the best movie in either series.

 

Seagal's Deadly Crossing is WAY better than the newest Die Hard movie. Waaaay better. Seagal has finally gotten better than Willis...crazy.

 

I'm not a fan of action films (I hate the shit out of them and they are violent just for the sake of being violent), but I quite like the first film. Sure, it had action, but at least we got to know characters before the action started. The characters also had humanity, and the film focused more on character development and story than just balls-to-the-wall action (we know who John McClane is, we know who Hans Gruber is, etc.) Die Hard 2 was fun. It's nowhere CLOSE to the greatness of the first, but it's good. 3 was crap. I never saw 4, and 5 was just awful.

 

Classic
