This sounds like the debate on if you met yourself. Would you beat the other you in a fight... or not.

Some people are more "counter punchers" and would therefore beat the "them" that attacked first.

However, any normal person would just be freaked out by seeing their doppelganger, as it is traditionally seen as a sign of impending doom.

 

I think if I were to meet my doppelganger I would be in such shock that I would be unable to argue.

 

That sure gives your doppelganger one hell of an edge ...
