Did you know you can contract an STD/STI from your stylist, or more specifically from the treatment of getting a waxing? I just learned about this recently, but apparently, there's cross contamination because the patient before you might have been a carrier, and the stylist doesn't know that and then uses the same equipment on the next person (you) and before you know it you're infected without ANY sexual activity.
Well yes if there is cross contamination you will be at risk of catching something. It's important to ask about hygiene practices and be an active advocate for your own health. Nobody is getting near my lady bits without disposable equipment.
