I've heard about the acid-laced headband story (who even knows if that is true with all the BS that goes around), but I have never heard or read anything about him injecting heroin behind his eye. I can't see why anyone would want to endure the pain in sticking a needle into their eye socket when shooting it into your arm would reach your head in about the same amount if time, which is like a matter of only a few seconds.

 

I'm pretty sure he just put sheets in the headband and would sweat and let it run in his eyes.
