As much as the American people should be voting women into office, the consensus is in favour of voting for a black man.

I think if it's too close for a tie, it will be left up to the superdelegates. That was always my understanding. And fuck US elections and primaries and vote machines and gerrymandering and laundry campaigns and fake cliché slogans and pointless party polarism.

But why? It seems like people are so caught up over such empty symbolism. How does Hillary represent the average woman anymore than Obama represents the average black person? And besides, aren't we all HUMAN? What is the point of adding to the needless divisions that already exist over gender, race, etc.? Why can't people just be people? How about a politician who works for the people? Oh, I forgot, they don't exist. Sure, we can have Hillary in office and that will fulfill the desires of the feminists, but will anything really change? Because people are so hung up on labels, they place all their focus on that instead of what really matters.

This question is specifically for Pressed Rat because I always hear him talking about conspiracy theories and how we're all headed for doom and gloom.

What do we do? You complain and come up with all these theories of what is going to happen...OK, great, but what do we do about it? I hate how people come in and complain about something/somethings, but don't offer any solutions.

And it also figures that my home state was one of the problems...Michigan sucks at life lately.
