Dial-up

i'm on earthlink which is only because i couldn't remember the url of the local provider i wanted to get on when the free aol that came with my current machine ran out.

i hate their damd task bar crap and not being able to easily and perminently get rid of it but having instead to turn it off by hand every time i get on.

eventualy i hope to get some kind of broadband, but we don't have cable and our phone service is life-line. we really don't, at my house, my wife and i, have the cash flow to afford much more then just this computer and to ride arround on the bus occasionaly for amusement and recreation.
