after my initial loving of Rejoicing In the Hands passed, I've decided that I like Oh Me Oh My... soooo much more.... I still havent heard his third one and havent heard enough of Cripple Crow to yet compare it to the other two.
there is alot to love about "oh me oh my...", but in the end, for me, i will always love "rejoicing in the hands" the most out of all his records...but "oh me oh my..." is my second favorite.
I can't wait to see Devendra live again. That was one of the happiest days of this year for me: meeting Devendra. It was so perfect. What a cool guy.
well i suggest at least buying "Cripple Crow" so you can hear the secret song "the white reggae troll/africa", cause either im blind, but i havent found anywhere to download that song. and the art work is pretty neat as well
its a very undevendra like song, and the quality isnt the best...but its sure delightful . Its almost 10 minutes long, so i feel it makes the CD more worth your money...even if not much of it goes to devendra
i wana hear it, i have cripple crow but i downloaded it so i guess its not on there. i guess ill buy it just for that song. i really wana hear it.
I've only just discovered Devendra. I haven't heard a lot of his music, but I really like what I have heard, especially "Quedate Luna". I believe it means "Stay there, Moon".
i only have 56k, so i dont think i could really help you there. only album i dont have is the black babies EP, but im doing a report on him for music appreciation so i'll get that this weekend. gosh i love this man
yeah. it actually gets rather boring most of the time, cos i wanna learn and play instruments, when half the time the class is told just to watch movies or do other classes' homework.. naturally the rest of the kids in that class are cool with that
