I was born in Ann Arbor. I graduated from Ypsi high in 1981 and spent the most of first ten years of my adulthood in Ann Arbor. I haven't been back there since 1991 when I moved to California. Sometimes I kinda miss it.

I don't know if all of these things are still there but I miss the Arboretum, the Blind Pig, Zingerman's, The Treasure Mart, The Bird of Paradise, The Michigan Theater, Drake's, the music store next to Nichol's Arcade (name?), Nalli's, Herb David's Music, The Hash Bash, The Art Fair, half a dozen used book stores within walking distance, and a whole bunch of people who probably don't live there any more.

Thanks for indulging me in this moment of nostalgia.

I'm about twenty minutes south of Ann Arbor...I try to move away but it just sucks me back here. I don't know what it is...but there's no place like Ann Arbor.

 

I havent been to ann arbor in a few years. I was gonna try to go to hash bash but i was out of the state then. It seems like an interesting town tho.

 

I love ann arbor does anyone know of anything going down anytime soon?
