I moved from the north side of A2 last year. As for what was posted on the first page of this thread, the shelter gives drug tests in order to stay there but I found it easy to camp in the woods. Never was I harrased by the police. I can say I dont miss Michigan. The day after I left last Jan. Phizer decided to pack up and leave town with 2100 jobs. I had to leave because all my plumbing customers moved to other states. Thanks NAFTA! I live in the Eastern Washington mountains now and love it here. Probally never go back to Michigan. I hear its getting worse. Last word the unemployment rate was 7.4%. Nice job Granholm. I do miss A2 and the people there. Graven must hang with the wrong crowd as I was homeless there for several months and never had a problem. My job came wtih an apartment and because they couldnt stay full they let go all the people that made over 10 an hour to hire mexicans that worked for 8, but they really dont know what they are doing. So I lost my job and home at the same time. Anyhow, The West coast does offer a lot more and the people here are awesome. Just my 2 cents... Love n Light, Tokin.
Anyone into the detroit music scene? Some good ska shows coming up! I'm in brighton, near ann arbor. I remember when I used to have to say howell, but we've become so commircialized that people know about the 810 now. What is up, michiganiacs?
Oh and that sounds nice bro, I plan on getting the hell outta here and moving to california finding a place to crash till I can get a job, ya know?
I moved to SoCal, but am moving back to Michigan to buy a business I used to work at... Better opportunities there for me...who would have thought??? I always said I would leave Michigan and never come back...here I am...going back and can't be happier about my decision.
When you come back, you know where I'll be, cooking for the fabulous food bar haha hope to see you soon
I am in Detroit and I like it alot. I definetely couldn't do Ann Arbor, it's too small. I could see the cops there being dicks. I am living up by 8 and dequindre, anybody else?
Dunno but I don't see things getting better around here anytime soon. Probably still will get worse for quite some time. I don't see Ann Arbor being effecting nearly as much as some other michigan towns though.
