This is a screenshot of my mainsystem...
This has been my background for years:
So now you have an idea of my desktop
when your working with text editors and lots of terminals nothing seems to beat a tiling window manager. you only need 80 columns in a text editor anyway. i haven't spent any time tweaking my dwm code yet. i'm probably going to replace a disk in my system and not sure how i'm gonna go about things. probably will keep kde or LXDE installed. DWM is a fast window manager for X and let's you effectively use all of the pixels on the screen. Everything can be done via keyboard.
Nice ones all!!
I like the other ones too verry nice indeed the tilling wm is one thing to try in the near future
That didn't appear to work. Louis Royo desktops FTW. =]
What is the distribution of linux?
@JasonHerbalExt I installed Debian with cairo ,xfce4 and a tweaked version of conky
I change it constantly tho.
think i might hack dwm to make it show the current POSIX time aka u is epoch time (seconds since midnight jan 1st, 1970) in the top right corner.
should only take like ... 1 line of C code .. maybe two.
Here's my current theme
nice setup iamjustme what type of conky theme did you use?
Cool thanks for the info gonna give it a go
hmm...trying to figure out where I got the Deskapplet on the right with the sys info...
