mine started as an HP Media Center PC that i won off a tech tv contest about 5years ago...the only original parts from that i still use is the monitor, keyboard, and hard drive and the optical drives the rest is custom amd athlon 64 x2 dual core 5200+ 2.8ghz 4gb ram 200gb hdd 300gb hdd dvd rom drive dvd burner(not sure the model) some random graphics card(i dont really play games) 17in flatpanel (hp pavilion f1703) and i have an s-video cable going to a 32in tv(old curved screen huge tv haha) wireless keyboard some nice speakers/sub(not sure the model) some asus motherboard, not sure which one i got but its about 6months old all in a coolermaster case(all black, no stupid windows or anything) it does what i need it to do, couldnt hurt to have more ram for photoshop though. also thinking about getting one of those nifty netbooks for travel and such...they seem pretty cool edit: oh yeah, i have xp pro and ubuntu installed though i usually run xp cause im not a big fan of ubuntu or linux for that matter...i like being able to customize things but i really dont need all the options linux offers and find it takes to long to do simple tasks
