i have zillions of piccies to post, and i have a dread hat, and i have questions.. but not right now, cause im eating a big tin of custard.

Who said plumbers cant crochet? Tehehehe. My mate Vee from college made this.. I drew what I wanted, showed her a pic, described to her… and this is the result:



NOTHING like what id asked for/drew etc. And then she pulled another hat outta her bag and it was PERFECT, so I says ‘can I have both?!’ and she says ‘no! this is the first one I did and it wasn’t what you wanted so my sister is having it!’ GRRRR. Its like… exactly what I asked for.. but anyway, I said if I buy her some red wool will she make me one like her sisters, and she will, so YAY.

Anyway, this is what the hat looks like when its on.. its like a bloomin great big crochet’ed condom or summat..




Itd be fine if it wasn’t for the dangly bit =/

 

This is my question post… ARGH.

So I washed the locks today using Kboy ‘poo bar, and ive found this dready, and its proper comin apart =[ its got about an inch of tangle, and then it just goes into normal hair… *worriedface*



am i just fretting over nout? its likely, but liiiiiiike.. a lot of my other sections are still quite tangled etc

I think they're all looking pretty impressive for their age, and really can't figure out what the hell you are worrying about. We have other posts where people at 5 months are saying there is still some straight hair and will it dread up and we're like, yeh obviously it will, and you're stressing after what...3 weeks or so? Silly moo!

 

Don't fret! Your dreads look amazing for their age.

I think your hair is looking great, you are just over a week ahead of mine and yours is looking a lot fuller. Almost all of my ends, except for two, are perfectly straight. In fact, many of them only have about three inches dreaded in total in them. So the fact that you have only one that is unraveling seems amazing to me. Your hair looks great!

put some wool wraps in, put a nut in (instead of a bead), i shall wash them tomorrowowowowow, and theyre a month old in 2 days!

I <3 the hat lollss xD you could modify the hat, and the dangly bit... grab the hat where you want it to end in a bunch, and run it through a sewing machine a few times in a bunch making sure it isn't flat, then cut off the pointy bit ^^ I'm not sure if it'll look any good but in my head it'll work

 

yeahhhh i was thinking of doing that! but cause its crochet'ed, my nanna and my momma say it wont work =/ i might pass it on to my aunt and see if she can rectify it for moi

OH ooorrr to save cutting it, tuck the pointy back back inside the hat and tack sew it in or use safety pins to hold it there Might look like a black hole from the back but hey xD
