Denver Broncos agressive in free agency, sign Ware, Talib, and Ward

The Denver Broncos signed DeMarcus Ware, Aquib Talib, and T.J. Ward.

All of these contracts were for pretty big money, but commentators have already pointed out that Talib's $57 million 6-year deal with $26 million in guarantees is especially hefty for a player that has injury/durability issues.

The consensus is that the team needs to make a push for the superbowl while Manning is still at MVP level, which may not be too long.

Denver crumbled hard, they didn't seem ready for anything. Mistakes from both offense and on D.

its great for seattle, as they have got no respect for years, were robbed from the Steelers in 05, and all last season Manning was talked about being the best of this and that, even during the playoffs, and seattle did just what they did to them in pre-season, crushed them

I figured that seattle was going to crush them, but not nearly as bad as they did. I think that most people who follow the game expected that too.

I read that at one point you could get denver as 2.5 point favorites in Vegas. If I happened to be in Vegas and had a few mill to throw around, I would have bet on seattle.

Denver did very well on offense overall last year (except the superbowl). I think that most of the loss had to do with seattle being awesome rather than denver sucking, though denver did some sucking too. Bunch of batted balls that turned into interceptions.

After that, denver was forced into taking risks to try to catch up, which meant taking risks like 4th down conversions, and these didn't pan out.

While the defense was the main asset for seattle, Russel Wilson should get some credit too (along with the rest of the seattle offense). Remained pretty poised, threw a few nice passes, evaded pressure. Not mind blowing, just good enough.

haven't heard anything about revis in their plans. he'd expect big bucks, I don't know if they still have cap space for him.

Holy shit! I was just about to post about various teams who were interested in revis..... PATRIOTS just signed him!

I normally find your posts annoying, but here I couldn't agree with you more. If it weren't for sports, half (probably more) of these ignoramuses would be in prison. Ooooh... dat's racist.

i guess the most obvious answer would be pat bowlen, because he owns the team and should probably give a fuck about pretty much everything that the team does.
