During the debates they showed they completely gave up on the middle class. ‘Tax increases for YOU, tax increases for YOU, TAX INCREASES FOR EVERYBODY!” They still think nobody noticed they got tax cuts last year, continuing to push the lie that Trump only gave tax cuts to the rich. And Yang’s VAT tax will go over like a lead balloon, because we all want a national sales tax, right? He even complimented European VAT taxes which are over 20%. The only saving grace of the debates was most of them pushed back on eliminating private health insurance. I’ve been on single payer (VA healthare) and it sucks. My private health insurance is a heck of a lot better, and there’s no way unions will give up their health plans for single payer. I was IBEW, unions typically have great health insurance. They fought to get exemptions when Obamacare passed because they would have been hit with penalties for being Cadillac plans. I tried to be objective, but I think they really blew it. We’ll see.

Fair enough, but either way government bureaucrats are making my healthcare decisions. No thanks. Been there, done that, have permanent disabilities because of it. Gov’t run healthcare for me was a refusal to provide proper care. Can’t bend all my fingers, most of the cartilage in my elbow is gone, the only help I received for these injuries was from private health insurance years after I was hurt. I wish I had private health insurance when the injuries happened. Instead I had to go to the VA.
