I'm changing majors and moving to Colorado

 

So they teach courses in how to grow, cross breed, harvest and process marijuana and make extracts from it. I imagine there's a home economics course teaching you how to make awesome edibles.

So what will they call a scientist with such a degree? A hempologist? A marijuanologist?

Just thought I would point out. It doesn’t cure cancer. Used to increase appetite in people going through chemo, makes them relax, sleep better and used to relieve some pain, which isn’t all the effective.

 

it wasn't officially my major, but i'm positive i spent more time "researching" marijuana than i did my major and minor combined.

 

I also think i qualify for simply go and pick the degree up.

you can learn most jobs by doing them, but you can't do a lot of jobs without getting the pointless degree first.

 

Aren't there ways to earn college credit with your life experience? We could all get PHDs in no time!

 

with all due respect this is a bullshit laughable teaching. people has been growing it for millennia and now a degree is wanted. i'd like to take a look at the people who join this course to have a good laugh.

 

Hey I'd join it if I could get some kinda scholarship! I mean, as a student you're required to constantly test what you grow, harvest, process and bake, and I'd be happy to do the research. This is a great leap forward for science!
