I'll dedicate the Flaming Lips' "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt. 1" to Marisa because I know that she won't let those robots defeat me... or eat me. And because she's a blackbelt in karate.

I dedicate a song, which I wrote, to anyone who has ever been a victim of abuse, rape, sexual assault, or anything of the sort... It's called Tell Me, Mary. Hey Mary, what is written on the wall Tell Mary, please tell her to call Hey Mary, what is written on the wall Tell Mary, all I can, that I've given her my all Oh the chills, that run down her back And the sleep, of which she lacks Is driving her insane And oh, I feel your pain Oh Mary, what has been done to you Are you scared and all alone and wishing you could find home Hey Mary, I only wish I could never let you out of my sight And the wrong of which has been done, I wish could be made right A friend, I've found, yet again Which in, in you, my friend Your sanity, Please don't let it leave you and me Just tell me Mary, tell me mary, tell me mary, tell me mary, If you could only wash away the pain and memory, all Just tell me Mary, just tell me Mary, tell me Mary, tell me Mary What is written on your wall Tell me Mary, tell me Mary, tell me Mary, tell me Mary What is written on the wall
By the way... it's kind of acoustified funk/jazz/folk/indie/flamencoish with a side of Lee Oskar Major Diatonic Harmonica in the key of D...lotsa hammer ons and pulloffs and weird Little Wing/Hendrix sounding descending runs centered around a weird semi-half-assed B minor chord.... I've recorded it...; but my computer seems to be enjoying itself in being a pain in the ass to me every once in a blue moon, so it cannot be sent to anyone on my buddy lists who I normally send songs that I record to, at the moment... recorded via '65 Fender Twin Reverb reissue and Martin D-35 with a self-made undersaddle piezo pickup.
I dedicate "The Light That Has Lighted The World" by George Harrison to all those who have found God and such... And to all the others... John Lennon's guitar demo for "Serve Yourself", which is a wicked rockin song even jus on the acoustic...and his string of obscenities in the middle makes me burst out laughing every time i hear it [but the piano dempo isnt as good]
I know... hahha... I heard Joe Walsh used to walk around mixing martinis onstage and he used to walk around where he lived in nebraska in his younger days carrying jars of olives and shit. I loveeeeee Joe Walsh... lmfao.
