as far as i can see its virtually dead here

this is a thread i created a while ago and hasn't moved much since

this is what happens when you allow trolls to trash politic forums

the purpose of trolls is to silence vocal dissent they bombard with cut and paste they have no reason or rhyme other than to silence, you'll learn nothing from them.

 

Perhaps, Guy you would be happier at Mother Jones or Huffington Post, places where groupthink prevails.

I'm a newb here, so...hope I'm not speaking out of place...

I was surprised that there's no current political topics, or general politics forum that I can see. The 2012 U.S. election cycle is starting, would that be a worthwhile forum? There are several forums geared toward rather narrow and specific political ideologies, but then there are several ideologies not present either. I would think that there'd might be interest here in discussing, for instance, "Progressive", "Conservative", "Democracy", "Representative Republic".

Any chance it can get opened up a little? Say, open a Politics General forum?

Actually, your pointer demonstrates the exact opposite, that here is no general politics forum. Where would one discuss the 2012 election, say, or maybe the results of the G-20 meeting, if s/he isn't an anarchist, socialist, communist, libertarian, or fascist?

Yes, on a normal browser(mozilla for me) the page cuts off at the bottom of the sub forums. Move your mouse to the edge of the page, and move down a few inches.

 

Yup, it does. I've just never seen a forums listing page that's also a forum topics page; it's always been one or the other. Thanks to TheMadcapSyd for pointing out to me that there's a general politics forum. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise because it's below the fold on the screen. I had to scroll down to even see that it was there. Noob error.

I tried to delete my last post, to which you replied, about a minute after I'd posted it, but there's no delete button I could see; tried "edit" and took out the whole post, hit "submit reply", but the post remained, unedited.

Filed under live & learn...

 

Well now that you know it exist, post a thread!

the america attacks forum used to be one of the most active on this site (barring the sex forums)

i walked away somewhat because they couldn't control israel firsters and other religious extremists that did their best to derail, cut and paste every post critical of support for extremists.

in the meantime since this particular forum being wrecked america replaced its war president for obama who has done everything in his power to keep the war going and most importantly shipping more hi tech weaponary for israel to use and sell on to anyone who has the dollars.

one thing you can now guarantee is for every last cent to be given over to israel to somehow bring on the messianic times. the war will continue.

do not vote for these people

do not buy from these people, if you keep giving them money they will continue to destroy you.

 

The US needs to change their foreign policy or they will no doubt become bankrupt, perhaps, that is all part of their plan?

I may be a little late with this but... Posting a thread in the America Attacks forum isn't the greatest method for trying to get rid of it... just sayin.

i have become the de facto curator of this forum

there used to be lively debate here

some time ago various avatars under employ of israel started bombarding this forum and esentially shut it down.

what is also curious is that whilst the united states under barrack obama has recently sent another 1500 troops to the eastern front no one posts here anymore.

the legions of america are still in the middle east fighting in iraq and afghanistan and plans are under way to open a third front in iran.

 

What do I have to read here? Odon...an israeli agent and not only a simple policeman as I thought...man this is worse than I thought...
