Debt Collector Harassing Me

They have to give you their company name and address.
They also have to mail you a copy of the instrument that caused the debt that they are trying to collect, if you request it.

When you get their company's name and address, write them (certified mail) asking that they not call you and demanding that they give you a copy of the original debt instrument.

The only people I have any sympathy for are people that have lost their job to no fault of their own & victims of Identity theft. So many people got themselves in so far over their heads because they have no self discipline. Just because credit is available to you doesn't mean you have the right to use it if you can not pay it back. The world owes you nothing & if you live beyond your needs then you have only yourself to blame. If you do not comprehend how the credit system works then you have no business taking advantage of the benefits from it. I see the comment Pay your bills over & over, how can you argue such a simple concept. If you could not afford it in the 1st place you had no business buying it or the service.

 

I have sympathy for people who somehow think using italics and underlining whole posts adds something to a conversation

 

It is a personal choice, I just happen to like the way it looks. It has nothing to do with adding anything to my opinion. If it is offensive to you in some way I am sorry. It is however my choice

So let's see if I got this straight... you have the right to say anything you wish in any manner you wish, but you feel that if someone else tries to exercise that right, it is infringing upon your rights???

I got a new cell phone number and with it I inherited some dude's debt collector calls. I tried telling them I wasn't the guy, but they keep calling so now when they call I fuck with them. Tell them I wired the money yesterday and give fake confirmation numbers or try to solicit sex from the the female callers...

I'm a bad person and if there is an afterlife, I'm guaranteed a spot in the bad part of it..
