"one way ticket to pluto" and "gone with my wind" are feckin hilarious songs. I remember listening to that album while speed balling on the boardwalks. That was fuckin' fun...
Other than The Velvet Underground(which is proto-punk) i think DK are probably the second leading band in the evolution of the punk scene...although Crass and the east coast sound of Operation Ivy help it a long also...DK is my favourite punk band
I have seen the DK's with Brandon Cruz and I think he sings the songs better than Jello..he just preached to much for me.
Richard Cheese is hilarious Ever heard Slipknots People = Shit by him? Thats awesome I have heard the name Dead Kennedys before but just listened to it for the first time... Holiday In Cambodia is quite awesome and Kill The Poor sounds wierd... If i would look at the lyrics i think i would like them more ^^
