I am sorry but I have to disagree with you here. I am 42 now which means I started high school at pretty much the same time this movie depicts. There is so much in this movie that happened that was exactly what happened to me. I was a pitcher in baseball and the paddling from the High School seniors, that happened to me. This movie was very realistic in my opinion because I lived it all. I think this movie was absolutely brilliant and I thought it captured the events of it's time with great accuracy. I guess if you were not in High School in the 70's in America, you probably would not understand, but everything in this movie really happened the way it was portrayed.
fuck i jsut started high school and i got paddled... so i wouldnt call it unrealistic, at leastr that part. kickass movie though, with a kickass soundtrack
i think this movie comes down to if you get it you love it and if you dont get it then your shit outta luck... personally i love it
Well, I find none of this movie unrealistic. I used to buy beer from a certain store at age 14, me and others have destroyed a few mailboxes from moving cars, I got stoned many of times on the grass field that seperated the Elementary school from the Junior High school. In fact, I remember getting drunk and stoned all night in that field and the next morning getting concert tickets for the concert of the century. Of course, it was not Aerosmith, it was the Day on the Green at Oakland Coliseum with Lynyrd Skynyrd(their last show before the crash), Peter Framprton, Ted Nugent, The Outlaws, Foghat, and one other I cant remember now. But anyway, this movie was so realistic for me that it was scary. I could relate with every single thing that happened in this movie.
dazed and confused is my all time favorite movie. i watch it everyday of my life no lie. from the classic lines to the the amazing soundtrack i love it all!
abslutely love it. saw it in 2001 for the first time. i watch it at least once a month. not for inspiration or anything. but for the fact that it reminds me of me. for some reason & the music is awesome. i have bought the soundtrack to it, as well. it always reminds me of thr last day of highschool.
i was refering to your signature, hey my name is LEA too! just, i don't spell it the way you do! that's sooo cool, it's difficult to find other "Lea(h)'s"...
