The DUI laws for pot out here are so ridiculous. If you have smoked within the last week or two you get a DUI. We all know how weed sticks around on tests in a way alcohol does not and that is the problem. It makes me nervous to drive sometimes even when I know I am ok. I hope they reform them but that's a tough argument to make. I've heard there will be a breathalyzer for it soon.

 

When in Colorado our hotel driver said he'd come from California to Denver because he liked it but also the weed was legal. Since he was our driver I asked how that worked and he said basically if you smoke then don't drive that day, if you're pulled over the next day you'll "blow over" but you'd be fine.

I also get paranoid because I know if I ever get tested I'm done for. So these days I don't even think of the consequences because I could busted completely sober the same as if I'm high as a kite right then and there.
