If a seller on Ebay wants offers they list that way; otherwise, leave them alone.

I went to town. Trust me... that's a big deal. :)

Bought a new book. Ate really crappy Sonic burger. Came home to find all the feathers gone on my fav rooster, Denzel's neck. WTH? No way he could have plucked out the feathers under his chin. Any predator that had him around the neck long enough to pluck those feathers would have killed him. It's too cold for him to be molting. WTH?

He's a very spoiled rooster. He thinks he's a dog and follows me all over the farm. I can't lose my boy. Anybody know what's up with this?

OhMYGAWD... Ty. I'll bet you're right. The younger rooster probably challenged him for the flock. Dang. But. that makes sense. The other one grabbed his neck feathers for a perch so he could rake away with his spurs.

Damn. Young rooster might have to meet the crockpot.

my roosters near killed each other when I had 2....I kept the old one and nursed him back to health...he was really torn up....then as a joke...at the beheading my friend purposely tossed the headless rooster at my feet and it jumped kinda on me....scared the jibbities out of me..he thought it was hilarious

change them both...when one sticks the other one is usually not far from seizing too

they are actually pretty cheap ..bring the old ones when you buy new ones to save a trip they usually have core charges..i usually clamp a visegrips or hose pincher on the line to stop all the fluid from coming out while im running around for new ones

I really only know a couple of families where the children have iPads. One instance she got the iPad when she was so young it's all I ever saw her on, or her mothers phone. She's a good kid but so addicted to them. And then the other one... =| 4 year old daughter looking up porn because her mother believes the world is sexually oppressed and she's a lot more free with it. Which is fine, but it bothered me when this daughter looked up porn and the mother only laughed. And this kid also takes her clothes off around other kids because that's what mommy did as a job. Ugh.

But anyway as for learning on an iPad, I get the simplicity etc. I bet it could even be a great learning tool. But I also believe it should be a privilege not a requirement.

    All my grandkids have Ipads.

They balance it with physical activity and school work though.

Them looking at stuff on there isn't as bad as watching re-runs of those stupid tween shows on t.v.

However, the younger ones did get into trouble for looking up tutorials on how to Twerk, lol

I don't know a single kid who owns their own tablet. And I know a fair amount of little kids that I used to babysit, who I still visit. Most of their parents own one that the kids are allowed to play with occasionally, but that's it. Some of them don't get tv time and iPad time either they have to choose.

The fact that a kid could be given something so expensive like that as if it ws normal kind of blows my mind too. When I was a kid the most expensive thing I ever got was a bike and I don't think it cost half as much as an iPad does. A bike is way less breakable too!

All the kids have them and they use them for homework

Your kid gets ostracized if they don't have one.

My son has 4 daughters so it's expensive; but their softball is as well.

Since grade 6 both of my kids were expected to hand in all assignments in word format. They were expected to be able to navigate power points and spread sheets (excel). That is the school system here at this point so it is not unrealistic for kids to have access to ipads or computers. The kids who did not have that were expected to spend library time during lunch or before and after school doing their assignments.

My kids when younger were restricted to certain shows and limited tv but as they grew up they were given access to what makes the world go around and what was and is needed to advance in the world of academia and careers, which is technical abilities. Times have changed and penmanship is not considered a marketable skill any more.

    Heat is absolutely right.

One of my granddaughters is 13, then there are three 9 year old girls; my daughter has the 8 year old boy.

School and homework isn't in the pencil to paper stage anymore.
