good morning david...let me rephrase....this thread in particular isn't like the others.. is like a rock in the website where we hide and talk to each other....we occasionally dart out into the website and make a comment but we come back here...and under her we respect each other....so if the women have a problem with what you say then ALL OF US DO........there are no exceptions

so this is the general plan direction i am headed in. not everything on this drawing exists yet, but im pretty confident that this layout is staying part of the plan. its actually the cable and electric that is overhead, the phone line is buried in the back yard. we are doing swales in the back to divert, catch, and store water (tan is low spots/ walkways, brown is the elevated bed areas) and most of our food production will be distributed there. the area marked as garden will be for things that need to be contained, or that just grow better in a more controlled space. the light blue between the patio and the garage will be a greenhouse. we have a lot of trees to put in, but we are still settling on placement.
i am also working on a collapsible half-greenhouse to put in front of the garage, so i can warm the garage with solar, and start things/ grow things in the winter.

i just saw a fox walking down the street. thats pretty cool, i like foxes. our neighborhood tends to have coyote as the dominant land predator. raccoon, skunk ive seen. but this is the first fox. we have hawks, kestrals, and owls too, mostly great horned. im already planning my coop and run to be super resistant to predators, shy of a bear coming into town we should be okay against the smaller predators.
