I like this comment posted on Forbes magazine's website.

I AM NOT ANONYMOUS. I AM AN AMERICAN.
I am not just a Consumer. I am a Citizen.
I will no longer be labeled Left or Right, Liberal or Conservative, Demopublican or Republocrat.
I will no longer follow Puppets labeled Left or Right, Liberal or Conservative, Demopublican or Republocrat.
I am the People. And I am coming for the Puppetmasters.
I am part of the 99 Percent. And I demand the following:
    1. End the Fed.
    2. Reverse Citizens United.
    3. Repeal PATRIOT Act.
    4. Expose 9/11 Truth.
    5. End Profit Wars.
    6. Refund Taxpayer Trillions.
    7. Imprison the Kleptocrats.
    8. Single Term Limits.
Or, if these demands are not addressed promptly:
    1. Regime Change.

They were locked in the bank until the cops could get there. That sounds like a case of illegal detention/ false arrest. I hope they sue the hell out of Citibank.

the no.1 demand should be to stop the negative impact of the financial "industry" and the casino capitalism they practice from continuing to destroy economies worldwide.

no.2 should be a 21st century new deal which might include government creating civilian jobs, but in this case it would be at the demand of the people - not the government creating jobs on behalf of it's own needs. it can build roads and schools here and pay for it by not blowing things up overseas.

no.3 in my mind would not only be an erasing of student debt, but a reform of the entire college education process. if you erased education debt, in a way, it's only fair to erase the value of the education to some extent (especially since many didn't pay for it all). Maybe the value lost in virtual numbers could be regained by making the workforce more skills oriented instead of focused on the value of a paper degree. If people were tested as talented and able to do certain work of value out of high school, they could go straight to their destination and start a job training process while getting paid something.

I don't mean to sound anti-education with my last statement, I actually feel like the quality of college education would go up if the number of people going went down. It might become a bit more 'intellectual'. And if you weren't there, I don't see a problem with it. There's nothing wrong with being in the working class as long as you have a voice, which is usually protected by the 'elite' intellectual class.

That's why I think the protesters tend to be a mix of college students and union workers - very American.

Video of police brutality in Times Square on Saturday Oct 15th.

Note the plainclothes officer who pushes the big bald guy into the police so he can be arrested at around 59 secs into the video.

There are always government agents in the crowd, so beware!

Yep, instigators and provocateurs. Under cover agents infiltrating protest groups. I remember FBI plants in my Communication and Public Speaking classes in college during the first Iraq war. SDA I think it was, would have speeches in the court yard and the same guys I saw in my classes would be shouting them down. The protesters couldn't get a word out. I was young but had enough sense to know they were plants. They were older and looked to yuppyish to be in freshman classes.

The big caution is against people provoking violence, spying on us is just wasted time. Cant spy and pick up secret info when we would, and are, more than happy to tell everyone exactly what we are planning to do. Transparency is the word for this revolution. Another fine day of protest in Buffalo,NY only got flipped off twice by passing cars, as usual tons of beeps of support. Someone dropped off a huge party tent for our supplies and a kitchen/cafeteria area. Lots of new faces showing up this week, never have to many protesters .:)

I hope for the sake of this movement that the protestors themselves will take down any provocateurs physically and give them to the cops,as bad as that sounds. A few windows busted and in they'll come with batons swinging. They always do it.

People that begin to cause trouble are asked to leave,if they begin to become violent they are escorted away from the main bunch and again asked to leave. If they actually start throwing punches or do not leave the cops will be called. The thing that sucks is, being non violent protesters have to refrain from even defending ourselves, to a point.

Any Current American Movement is totally lost nowadays...it sucks. Everyone (including myself) has more to worry about because change seems too difficult. If we all would just raise our blunts, smile, smoke, and laugh our asses off, we would be happier. I got the muchies....peace
