yup. that sounds very likely. if you recall the common demo of a tesla coil with an unconected neon tube. ok, maybe not directly related. any capacitor emulates a battery briefly, and any piece of wire, is both an inductor and a pick up coil. back in analog days, these 'strays' as they were called, were a major geek thing. and a musical instrument called a therimin is basically a demonstration of the principal (well with the terimin its acaully capacitance, but i won't try to go into what i'm sure others one here can explain better then i can. its all physics 101 stuff. so it could even have something to do with where you put things in relations to each other. maybe even like where you set your cell phone when its on the charger. i'm not saying anything specific, these are just totally general wild guesses, but stray inductances are a real thing, and why so many grounded inclosures and opto isolators are common and required in electricly noisy industrial setting. well, why a lot of things.
This house has always been a little weird. Years ago, a remote control, battery operated car went across the room by itself. Then, a few years later, a belt sander, which was plugged in, turned itself on. The CD tray on my pc opened and closed by itself several times... Also, light bulbs tend to blow out when I'm really angry and stressed.
There Is No Shortage Of Hip Members That Also Believe In Stones And Crystals.......David Is Far From Alone...... Cheers Glen.
Ah well! At least that was one of the more innocent 'beliefs' he held. He really went overboard with most other environmental and medical/health topics, and not only with the opinion on itself (which if conveyed normally would be fine to have. To each their own and all that), but also how he insisted on bringing it, how he treated his convo partners and of course how he delt with facts and criticism in reactions he got from fellow forummers. Some serious trolling.
You don't have a clue about why David and I didn't get on.. He actually said I gave myself breast cancer, and there was natural remedies to cure my granddaughter s cystic fibrosis! And he didn't know the difference between type 1 and 2 diabetes... So yes, we argued here and in private chat! And I still say, he is a nob!
