I've only read one of his pieces, and that was this year with my English class. I wouldn't mind reading some more soon! I loved it. We read "I Talk Pretty One Day".

i love david sedaris, the santaland diaries are hilarious...and holidays on ice

his sister, amy, who created and starred in strangers with candy, also wrote a book with stephen colbert from the daily show...its called wigfield and its pretty funny too...

I've listened to all of "Holidays on Ice" on a CD I got from the library. Thoroughly enjoyable. And a friend just recently gave me the book.

I <3 his books. Y'all know he's published a new one, right? "Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim". This one's got quite a bit in it about hippies, something you all should find VERY interesting.

Y'all. Pfff. *rolls eyes, but not in a completely derogatory manner*

I find that the beginning of his books are (in general) VERY good, but they decline in terms of quality of humor as one reads more. So I enjoy the BEGINNINGS of David Sedaris books.

Y'all is the only English equivalent to the French vous and German sie. What was I to say? You all? That is an awfully stunted way of saying it, when there is such a convenient combo as "y'all"

I agree. Maybe we should come up with a new word, a subsitute for "y'all" (where are you? It's my birthday!).

I agree. I find that I read like half his books and lose interest.
