He says things that are true, but mixes it with a lot of crazy nonsense so that people (most, that is) throw the baby out with the bathwater so to speak. Anytime a person's books are as readily available to the public as Icke's are, it makes me wonder if they're not intentionally put out there to discredit the truth and mislead people with a lot of new age baloney. So while Icke says many things that are spot on, he blends it with a lot of kookery with talk of shape-shifting reptilians and such, which paints a negative image in the public's mind anytime something related to conspiracy comes up in discussion, so people tend not to give credence to things which may contain a lot of truth. Overall I think David Icke is an agent of disinfo, but there is a lot of truth that can be gleaned from his work with the right discernment.
He has some really far out ideas, I've not read any of his books but based on interviews, he's probably my favorite amongst the conspiracy theorists. He seems the most self-consistent in his ideas that I've seen and he has a conviction in them to go along with it, which is, if nothing else at least entertaining. I might be interested in checking out some of his literary work regarding the Matrix. I like his description of his Ayahuasca experiences. Starts at 7:20 http://youtu.be/mJI9KqgobPE
Well he seems very sure of himself and his website has been going for a very long time if that means anything.
His critics claim he’s an anti-Semite, and when he refers to 12 foot lizards controlling the world its code for the 12 tribes of Israel Hotwater
Well actually he doesnt come on that site so none of us really knows how he feels... (Besides the videos he puts out) The site though is a GENERAL TRUTH SITE and it quite good!! (You should come check it out mate)
I remember listen to him back when on Art Bell in the middle of the night, AM radio. Nutty fun. Conspiracy porn. Ike was one of the better guests, he and Art did good shows together.
a lot of the things i've seen people say the government is hiding, are readily available in any public library, and just not mentioned in corporate media, for reasons that have more to do with corporate economics then anything to do with any government. a lot of crazy sounding stuff COULD be true, but most of the big scary deal people make about it, has little or no basis beyond just that it is likely to get attention.
The truth is that there is a section of Judaism that is "Satanic" "evil" whatever you would like to call it. It's the forbidden knowladge of the Illuminati. Since Judaism is the oldest of the current Middle Eastern religions they had the original contact with the "god" of the old testament. This being was in fact an alien that said it was god. But in exchange for power over their fellow man the ruling elite the same blood line as the Queen of England and all Icke talks about made a trade with these beings. He is correct about them inter-breeding for a specific reason. It's not just that the poor are not worthy. They really don't have the DNA for it. These Jewish people then act like the victim because in this day and age you will be thought of as a Nazi if you say anything about them. I am not anti-Semitic but I have found research on these people to quickly get into that territory. What some of these people say as far Jews controlling the media is very true. But it's only a small portion of Jews which don't really follow mainstream Judaism.
I admit, If there was an academy award for playing the role of the victim, Jews would win hands-down. But I still haven't seen any evidence, DNA or otherwise, which proves there was any alien interference or hybridization with the so-called chosen people. Hotwater
He's right on some things. But he's well and truly stitched up on others. Thats how the guilty can discredit him. He talks sense but he's also been as mental as a sunbather in Antarctica.
i really never consider individual personalities the point of any issue. every thought deserves evaluation on its own merits (or lack of them), only, and without regard to who voices them. he is undoubtedly half right about some of the things he observes to be wrong, but his alternative conclusions, it would seem, are even further out there, then most of what we are being fed. human history, is more then ample reason, for the rest of the universe to be skeptical of our trustworthiness and responsibleness, as a sapient species.
I like what he has to say about what's going on in the Middle East, but then he shifts to the reptilian shape shifting aliens and he looses me.
Lloyd Pye was in the same boat as Icke. Lloyd did a great job with his book "Everything you know is wrong": Human origins. Although I think he went a little to far with the Starchild; while I am not opposed to his theory, it seems the sequencing of DNA is/was the downfall and will never be taken seriously. In saying that, I agree, we did have 'help' by outside forces but in no way do we have Human/ET Hybrids. Search the Dogon tribe of Africa. To add to that, one would think that if ET did have a communal visit, that the DNA would match ours; if there was not a DNA match, then there would not be any fertilization of the Egg. Same as if you mated with an animal, no fertilization with no DNA match. Icke has his moments but the Lizard people, metaphor or not, looses most folks interest.
