Surprised nobody has said Netflix n' Chill. I'll do it: Netflix n' Vhill. Aww, I fucked it up. Only had one chance to do it right....
I think you are correct! Men don't know how to plan dates. My ex was awful at it!!! But my fiance now does a much better job.
Married but we still like to plan fun things to do, but sometimes, the simplest things are the best. Like picnics, coffee at a local cafe, laying under the stars on a blanket. If you live in a colder climate, make homemade hot chocolate and find a fireplace to just chill and talk.
I'm not fun when forced to partake in any 'whimsical' form of golf. I do not even partake in karaoke. I simply refuse and nag on those who insist on doing it anyway
What an accurate welcome to HF! It’s snowy already and the usual let’s hike! date is less appealing. We still will, but he gets cold quickly. The Guitarist is a history buff. I found some kooky museums and we plan to go. I’ll make a picnic lunch. I’m trying to get him to go over to Ouray for the hot springs. I am looking for local hot tub options. A common spur of the moment is an open mic. He usually decides to play. He took me to a restaurant (we are rarely out of work early enough), and the food was okay, but something reminded me of Casa Bonita, so I’m thinking that we should have a dumb tourist trap afternoon.
My best dates ever were backpacking in the mountains next to a lake. Camp fire, coffee in the morning, skinny dipping, trout for lunch. Then she wanted to have kids so I said I will help you find someone.
I too like outdoor dates. Pack a lunch, include some wine along a nice river with rapids. Star gazing is high on the list but best done while camping as the meteor showers happen late.
She's right though. It's a good date idea. I like a date idea where there is something to DO, especially if it's a date with someone I'm still early-dating. And it provides a chance to show off.
I read that people should avoid going to the movies on a first date and that ice skating or bowling are more highly recommended. I met nice girl on Tinder not so long ago and we had amazing first date. It was simple coffee date but we spent anazing time together. I found useful info about dating at idateadvice.com blog. It helped me a lot!
