so you are totally going off your own viewpoint of things you may have heard before. and liberal annoy you! please be able to back up your arguament next time you want to debate something peacex
not really, because there is a HUGE difference between reasoning for both of these given circumstances. a genocide is occuring in darfur, where in Iraq, the humanitarina side of things was not a key reason given until the key reason were proven to be false. 9/11 changed the international political spectrum from a US stance, and this was seen in the Iraq invasion. just so people know i am not attacking the United States for the whole Darfur thing, it is the responisbilty of all states, peacex
for now on I will bookmark every fucking article I read, tape every time I watch the news and all that
I was just pointing out that Liberals often contradict themselves over politics, and it frustrates me. Bush seems to always be in the wrong. I have some extreme views, left wingers annoy me. It's all about peace and the Iraq war is in hope of achieving that eventually, I also believe that Darfur needs Bush's help, but he can't be wrong about everything, that's all I meant. With love and respect.
some liberal can annoy me, but they always mean well. conservatives in most cases annoy me, and some do mean well, but many are just selfish and really do mean what they say. i mean how can people say the Iraq war was right because it was a threat, (which was the initial standpoint), but as soon as that reasoning was proved wrong they move to the humanitarina intervention point because they do not want to proved wrong. but when it comes to real humanitarian intervention, many conservatives contradict themself and say it is none of americas business, and we help enough etc. i do not believe Bush is wrong about everything, i just dislike his foreign policy, i do not get involved in American politics, because i am not from the State so why should i get involved. peacex
I fully understand that liberals always mean well. I believe the Iraq war was necessary because Saddam was an evil tyrant that tortured his own people and couldn't be TRUSTED. But I also realize that Bush didn't explain that to the people well at all, infact he messed it up disastrously. But that doesn't mean the Iraq war wasn't beneficial and that it's a lot safer without Saddam in the world. I see how conservatives look selfish, but they're tough on people who seek to take advantage on decent and trusting people. With love and respect.
in my opinion, Iraq was a disaster, there are many dictators and tyrants around the world. and that should've been the main reason given but it was not as the international outlook changed after 9/11. i can see why people can see Iraq as been a good thing, but is the world a safer place, i believe more terrorists will arise because of the use of american power in the middle east, after 9/11 american was seen as a victim, but now it is looked as the state that shows it power and force for selfish means. the world is not safer because of this war. in theory removing suddam should of been a good move, if that was what it was for, but it is not in practise. peacex
I agree with some of this, but 9/11 was always going to happen. In 1993, Ramzi Youssef, a Muslim terrorist attempted it and almost succeeded. Terrorists have always been against the west, not just because of the Iraq war. And without Saddam it is safer, factually for Iraqis, and Kurds, because he executed more of them than were killed in the war. And in theory for the rest of the world because he had biological warfare plans. I believe in peace, but sometimes I think violence is necessary to get there, just my opinion. With love and respect.
Dudes we're getting kinda off topic here. Sure you guys wanna talk this shit over, but i believe that the thousands of people falling victim to this genocide don't give a shit about the fucking politics of Iraq. No Direction Home is totally right, we gotta let people know this shit is happening. I didn't know before i read this post, n that sucks, half a million people dead and we aren't being told about it? It's everyones problem, we share this world, politics are what fucking messed it up.
